This mosque was used as the central point of the road while the French occupied this place. This place is magical for tourists to visit and see. It has six rooms, one on top of another, and is so designed to keep people on the minaret from looking in on the king’s harem.
  • Bahia Palace, a collection of big houses and several small ones, is seductive, and it took 60 years to complete its construction. Incorporating the best of Moroccan and Islamic architecture and style, now, this is a place to host state visitors from different countries in Morocco.
  • Jardin Majorelle is an oasis of beautiful flowers, lush greenery, and patios. People come here to relax and to be freed from the hurried lifestyle of the modern era. The garden was created by the French painter, Jacques Majorelle, who spent 40 years completing it. Here you will experience the magical views of exotic plants, fountains, and meandering pathways.
  • If you are fond of theology and the teaching of the Quran, visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa. It was like the Buddhist teaching centres in India. This was purely an Islamic teaching center, with more than 900 students studying at a time. The main attraction here is a large courtyard with an elaborately decorated prayer hall. Its rare architectural moros are the Alhambra in Spain. Through the complex, one can see inscriptions in Arabic.
